Huge weight off my shoulders, filed for ch 7 today, I have been working on my petition for months, making sure Im not missing anything because I filed pro se. I was really in a crunch these last 2 weeks because I don’t want to pay anymore money towards my vehicle. As of today I’m 91 days behind.
After leaving the court I called my lender to notify them, so I don’t have to worry about getting repo’ed while at work. I gave them the case number, they put me on hold, came back and asked for attorney information. I tell them I self filed and don’t have one. They put me on hold again and come back and say something along the lines of they can’t help me until I hire an attorney. Obviously that is here nor there, but I find it odd a national bank would respond that way.
