Hello. I am about to file for Chapter 13 as I didn’t qualify for a chapter 7. After maxing out expenses, my lawyer expects my payment to be around $1,430/month. This will only leave me with $300-$400/mo after all my expenses and trustee payment. I’m stressed about the sustainability, but it’s just going to require more discipline and I’ll survive.m (what choice do I have but to survive, right?)
To those who have gone through a 13, how did you manage? How bad was it? What adjustments did you make? I’m turning 30 in a couple weeks, and I can’t help but worry about where I’ll be when I get out of this at 35. What’s your life like post chapter 13?
