Talked to an attorney about chapter 7 and filling due to income I wouldn’t qualify but I have two massive car loans we’re talking over 150k in debt just for vehicle, they said I’d qualify for under a chapter 7 because I’m spending so much monthly on just bills. (I have no room for saving or doing anything) ideally I’m trying to get out of one or both of the vehicles completely and start from scratch! I’d like to hear others experience and how long the process took from start to finish? I’d like to know if you were still able to purchase another vehicle or even get into a different rental property and how long after?
And is this valid and true that I would qualify because of my monthly payments?
What do they look at during bankruptcy? My attorney said the past 2-6 months of bank statements, all of the debt, medical bills etc.
Do they look at when was the last time I paid a medical bill?
Do they look at credit card statements and how far back if they do?
Do they look at when my last vehicle payments were made?
I’m curious what exactly do they look at?
What exactly happens during a 341 meeting?
