Started the process of collecting all required documents in April. Lawyer filed May 18th. Our 341 was June 24th. Discharged Aug 25th.
My husband and daughter were part of a 5 car accident on Aug 17th. Total loss on a 3YO car with payments and thankfully had GAP.
Went to the same dealership where I’ve bought the last two cars from. Rental was getting outta hand at 302 a WEEK.
Somehow, they worked some f**** magic today. I got a certified pre-owned 2024 with 56k miles for 440 a month and a 540 credit score. 17% APR. Includes GAP. My last two cars were 7%.
Went from 100k+ in debt to zero debt to having to go back into debt for a new to me car, a WEEK after being fully discharged.
There is hope. With everything else that has gone absolutely wrong for me this year, this was a much needed breath of fresh air.
