In 2024 my wife and I filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy, we are currently up to have our case dismissed. Our attorney has failed numerous times to give us update us on our case, never answers his calls and has failed to submit the proper paperwork in a timely manner. At this point I’m ready for it to be dismissed because I’m tired of the back and forth with the courts and the trustee and my attorney being a prick who never calls me back, answers my phone calls texts or emails. I’m tempted to settle this with the creditors myself and just set up payments with them. Does anyone have any advise on this or personal experience?
