I’m ashamed of myself. I’m 26 years old and have built my credit score since 18 to 800+ with multiple cards, never late payments, paid off car.
I got laid off unexpectedly, and have been trying to get a new job. Currently unemployed. I went through a manic episode & maxed out all my cards on dumb shit ( food, traveling ) Currently have about $90k in credit card debt, moved back in with my parents. I asked my mother for advice and she said bankruptcy will ruin my life (credit wise).
I have about 14 late payments on my credit already, soon to be sued I’m sure of. Utilization is over 100% , I don’t think I can pay this off even if I could it would take years to pay it all off.
